Current psychological therapies for schizophrenia are quite long (at least 6 months) and do not specifically target the treatment of co-morbid depression, even though about half of schizophrenia patients also suffer from negative mood. This study seeks to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of positive memory training for the treatment of depression in schizophrenia based on impending clinical trial data.
